The lock is part
of a complete flow.

Your on-premise gateway connects to the access systems inside your network. Access permissions, contractor details and work orders are stored on-premise. The hosted contractor portal uses that same system, without a separate database for these records.

Access can come from a role, fixed access assigned to a user or an approved request. When someone needs to request access, administrators can review it and adjust the access window before approving or rejecting it.
